Saturday (Apr 7) is the “Hwy 271 Car Cruise.” About 70 classic cars from all around East Texas will be in downtown Pittsburg for about an hour and a half. Each driver will receive a “Goody Bag.” In each, there will be a scavenger hunt game for Pittsburg. The drivers will use clues to find things around downtown and choose a prize. If you would like to donate something to the drivers as a prize, please let me know.
Saturday (Apr 14) it is “Skeet for Baby Feet” at Firehouse 9 Farms, 4101 Locust Rd. in Gilmer. It starts at noon with registration. The shooting begins at 1:00 pm after a meal. The cost for a team of four is $25 per person. The food is extra. Shooting and Meal Tickets are sold in advance and at Sign-In. You may contact Teresa Owen, 903-353-3200 for more information.
