Greetings Pittsburg-Camp County Chamber Members and Supporters
A lot of events are coming up in the next few weeks! See below for all of the details. As always, if you have an upcoming event, you would like included in a future email, please let me know.
Upcoming Events:
The Pittsburg Fire Department is holding a fundraiser Saturday (Apr 28) to raise money to purchase a new set of battery powered rescue tools (jaws of life). We have decided to buy these tools because they will help us do a faster and more productive job on a wreck scene. We are serving hamburgers and hotdogs at the fire station for $7.00 per plate, starting at 11:00 a.m. There will be a demonstration of the tools at 2:00 p.m. and a cake auction at 4:00 p.m. There will be a bounce house for the kids.
First Responder Appreciation Celebration
Join the Pittsburg Masonic Lodge, Frank Sexton Lodge No. 206, in honoring our Camp County First Responders on Friday (Apr 27) at 5:30 p.m. on the Camp County courthouse lawn. The boy scouts will be on hand to present colors, and the Pittsburg HS Band will play the National Anthem. A short presentation will follow.
