Do you love kids, love the holidays, and love the color green? If so, the City of Pittsburg would like to speak to you. If you would be willing to volunteer for the evening (volunteers must be 18+), please contact Niecy Baum at City Hall – 903-856-3621.

Calling all Contractors

Families are choosing to move to Camp County every day.  They tell us they’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle of the big city.  At the Chamber office, we’ve had families stop by from Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Ohio and Colorado, all saying that they are ready for a slower pace of life.  The number one question I hear, “we’re in need of contractors to help us build or remodel our home!”  The problem I face at the Chamber, I don’t have a list of resources to give them.

Are you a builder, an electrician, a plumber, a home inspector, or a painter?  Do you do yard design/landscaping, dirt work, concrete work or maintain pools?  If you have anything to do with the home building or home maintenance process, we’d like to include you in our new Camp County Relocation Package.  This new package will include statistics on Pittsburg and Camp County, a list of service providers (water, electric, phone, internet, etc.), information on real estate offices and title companies, as well as a comprehensive list of contractors.

Tony Herrera and Carrie Thomas, owners of Texas Rust Remodeling are thrilled that they joined the Pittsburg-Camp County Chamber of Commerce earlier this year.  “We’ve received numerous referrals since we joined the Chamber.  We’ve helped several families with remodeling projects over the past few months, based on Chamber referrals.  Everyone has been great to work with.  We look forward to being Chamber members for years to come.” said Carrie Thomas.

To ensure that your business is included in the Camp County Relocation Package, contact the Chamber today by calling 903-856-3442 or email info@pittsburgcampcountychamber.com.  Join the Chamber today and receive the next two months of membership for FREE.  Your dues will be applied to 2019.  Dues for small businesses are only $85 or $140 per year, depending on the number of employees.  This is a great investment for the number of referrals you’ll receive from newcomers to our area!  We look forward to welcoming your business as a new Chamber member!
