Pittsburg Police Chief Richard Penn has announced he will retire in July after 28 years in law enforcement. His final day on the job will be July 9. Assistant Chief of Police Matthew Lemarr has been named Interim Chief of Police effective July 10. He’s been with the department for 19 years in multiple positions.
