PJC Board Approves Annexation Plan

The Paris Junior College Board of Regents has approved an annexation plan that would add portions of 5 counties to the taxing district. If voters in the school districts affected by the annexation approve the proposal, 10 cents per hundred dollars valuation would be added to their property tax bill in the fall of 2017. Voters in most school district in Hopkins, Delta, Hunt,  Red River and Lamar will vote on the issue in the November General Election.
