Plans Finalized For $1.2 Billion New Fannin County Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has given final approval for a $1.2 billion, 16,000-acre lake to be built in Northeastern Fannin County. Work on the project is slated to begin this spring. The Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir will be a vital source of water for 1.7 million North Texans living in 80 communities.
