Police Search For Murder Suspect

Texarkana Police is searching for a gunman who left a woman dead Wednesday around 5:00 pm. The disturbance was in the 3800 block of Alexander Street. The gunman left Mercedes Young, 30, with significant injuries. According to police, Rodney Lindley, 40, shot Young inside her house. They later pronounced her at the hospital.
