Portion of Hwy. 82 to be Renamed for Fallen DPS Trooper

Lamar County Commissioners have passed a resolution naming the portion of Hwy 82 between the 4200 block of Lamar to the Lamar County line in honor of a fallen state trooper.  The Hwy will now be called the Trooper Jeffrey Nichols Memorial Highway.
