Powderly VFD Receives Grant From Atmos

The Powderly Volunteer Fire Department will use a $500 grant from Atmos Energy  to purchase training gear for the department. The money will pay for five new Blast Masks to be used instead of air tanks for training exercises. In an actual emergency, the air tanks will be full and ready for use.
