Powderly Woman Arrested In Hopkins County for Drugs

A Lamar County woman was arrested by a Hopkins County deputy who found a child in the back seat of a car stopped for a traffic violation. The deputy reported that the driver, 29 year old Torie Jean Bradley of Powderly exhibited signs of methamphetamine use, and after searching the vehicle found a meth pip and Xanax pills. She also admitted to having meth on her person and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The child was placed with relatives.
