The Texas power grid, which failed dramatically one year ago, has survived a winter storm that blanketed the state with bone-chilling cold. Todd Staples, who heads the Texas Oil and Gas Association, credits the winterization efforts. He says the oil and gas industry worked overtime during this storm and was able to keep supply above demand. And that, he says, should restore some consumer confidence.
