Prairiland ISD OK’s Incentives For Solar Farms

Prairiland ISD trustees this week approved tax incentives for GSE Twelve, the first of two solar energy firms looking to locate in the school’s district. Both an Austin attorney and a school superintendent from the Upper Gulf Coast told trustees that school districts have had nothing but good fortune from granting tax incentives under the provisions of the Texas Economic Development Act.
