Prairiland ISD OK’s Solar Farm

The Prairiland ISD Board of Trustees has approved a new solar farm called the Sgt. Hoskins Solar Project. The $200-million project will be on 1,000 acres leased near the Blossom Prairie Landfill site. If the project receives approval from the Texas Comptroller’s Office, it should be operational by 2028.
