Pre-Trial Hearings for Sims Held Friday

Pre- trial hearings were held in Lamar County Friday for a teen accused of murdering his grandmother in 2014. The jury trial for 18 year old  Christian Sims is scheduled for October 31. Sims and his girlfriend, Ashley Morrison are accused of fatally shooting 66 year old Annie Sims at her home in Powderly .
