In one of the most challenging fought elections in recent memory, there is no winner in the race between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Some states are still too close to call, and they might not know the results for days or even weeks. The likelihood of legal challenges over the election, no matter the winner, is considered inevitable. President Trump promised early this morning if he doesn’t win; he will go to the Supreme Court. Trump’s vote margin in Northeast Texas, however, was a landslide.
Other notable results in Texas included incumbent Senator John Cornyn over MJ Hegar. Voters elected Pat Fallon to the U.S. Congress seat vacated by John Ratcliff, who resigned to become Director of National Intelligence. More information is on our election website.
