Prison Guard Sentenced For Sexual Relationship With Inmate

A former North Texas federal prison guard has been sentenced to a year in prison for having an intimate relationship with an inmate. Authorities arrested 32-year-old Erica McCoy in 2017 after her supervisors learned she had multiple encounters in a cell at the low-security prison in Seagoville. She must register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.
