Prosecution Rests In Former Nurse’s Capital Murder Trial

The prosecution rested its case in the trial of a former East Texas nurse charged with four counts of capital murder. The state is accusing 37-year-old William George Davis of Hallsville of intentionally injecting air into patients’ arterial systems. At the same time, he was a nurse at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital in Tyler. The defense is now presenting its case and brought back two of the prosecution’s witnesses Wednesday.
