Prosecution Rests in NE Texas Capital Murder Trial

The prosecution has rested its case in the punishment phase of the capital murder trial of 39-year-old Billy Joel Tracy, a Telford State Prison inmate. He faces a possible death sentence for fatally beating correctional officer Timothy Davison in July 2015 at the prison in New Boston. The defense is presenting its case, in an attempt to save Tracy from lethal injection.
