The average gasoline price in Texas is quickly approaching three dollars a gallon, a level we haven’t seen in quite a while. Triple-A-Texas says the statewide average for regular unleaded is now $2.97. Meanwhile, the increase in diesel prices is even more notable. Those are up 18 cents a gallon in the past two weeks.
