Punishment Trial Continues In Bowie County Capital Murder Case

Testimony continues this week in New Boston in the punishment phase of the Capital Murder trial of 39-year-old Telford Prison Unit inmate Billy Joel Tracy. Tracy was convicted of beating to death correctional officer Timothy Davison. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. The prosecution is expected to wrap up its case by Wednesday, and then the defense will put on witnesses.
