Pushmataha County Mother Gets 30 years For Injuring Child

A court sentenced a Pushmataha County woman to 30 years in prison for breaking several bones in her infant son’s body. Antlers Police say Kelly Stowe broke the three-month old’s leg, ribs, and eye-socket. She told officers she did it because the boy wouldn’t stop crying at night and also because she wanted to go to jail, so she could be with the boy’s father, a registered sex offender.
