Pushmataha Deputy Resigns After Filing Alleged False Report

An unnamed Pushmataha deputy has resigned after admitting that he fabricated a report about engaging in a gunfight with two suspects during a pursuit into McCurtain County. Sheriff B.J Hedgecock said that he has asked the OSBI to investigate the incident, and the results of their investigation will be turned over to the District Attorney.
