A Hunt County jury has found Carl Allen Welch of Quinlan not guilty of the murder of Terry Cale of Wills Point in 2014. COVID-19 pandemic delayed the mistrial in 2019. The Greenville Herald-Banner reports the jury found that Welch was acting in self-defense.
