Rains County Jail Removed From Non-Compliant List

Following the Texas Commission on Jail Standards inspection, they removed the Rains County Jail from the state non-compliance list. Unfortunately, they placed the jail on the list in March when it had yet to receive the necessary eight-month inspections. The inspections required were for fire safety and health.
