Game to be made up on Monday, June 20 at time TBA

Arlington, Texas—Sunday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles, scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington, has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The current forecast calls for moderate to heavy rain and showers in the area throughout the day on Sunday and Sunday night and continuing on Monday. As a result, the Rangers decided to postpone today’s game this morning and will not attempt to reschedule the game for tomorrow, an open date for both teams.

Sunday’s game has been rescheduled for Monday, June 20, which is an open date for both teams, at Globe Life Park in Arlington, at a time to be determined.

Fans holding tickets to today’s game may use those tickets for the Monday, June 20 makeup and should hold on to them for that date. Fans may also exchange tickets for today’s game for any Sunday through Thursday non-premier home game, subject to availability, during the remainder of the 2016 season.

The Rangers Globe Life Park in Arlington box office will not be open today, but fans may call the Rangers Ticket Call Center at 972.RANGERS on Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Regular box office hours during the week are 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on non-game days and 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on game days.

The PowerAde Zero Delino DeShields Socks giveaway scheduled for today will be rescheduled on a date to be announced.

The Rangers owned major league baseball’s longest streak without a postponement prior to today’s rainout. Texas had played 448 consecutive regular season games played since a scheduled contest was postponed, a rainout on May 29, 2013 with Arizona at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
