Ransomware Attacks Targeting Hospitals

The FBI is warning that there’s a new cybersecurity threat, and it’s targeting hospitals. The ransomware scrambles data, turning it into gibberish, and forcing hospitals to pay ransoms of up to $10 million to obtain a software key to solve the issue. The ransomware has hit no North Texas hospitals at this time.
