The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Red Flag Warning for the entire area. Hazardous fire weather conditions will come together starting this morning due to relative humidity values between 10-20%, sustained winds upwards of 45 mph with gusts as high as 65 mph, and very dry fuels. Fuels will continue to dry out through Friday afternoon with above-average warmth as highs climb into the upper 70s and 80s. It will result in a critical fire weather threat across our entire region. Expect areas of blowing dust and reduced visibility.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Red Flag Warning for very strong winds gusts up to 65 mph and very low relative humidity values, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Friday. * AFFECTED AREA...All of North and Central Texas. * TIMING...Late Friday morning into Friday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * TEMPERATURES...75 to 87 degrees. * IMPACTS...Rapid spread of wildfires is possible due to very strong southwesterly winds and low relative humidity values.
