Red River Commissioners Hires Nurse Practitioner For Jail

Red River County Commissioners have appointed a nurse practitioner to visit the jail every week. It will save the county the expense of transporting inmates to a clinic in Paris every month. The cost to the county will be about $1,250 per month. Money for the program will come from the county’s indigent account, which comes from inmate purchases at the jail commissary.
