Remains Found in Southern Lamar County

Lamar County detectives and Texas Rangers are continuing to investigate after possible human remains were found by a rancher on his property near CR14760 in the southern part of the county. Since the remains had apparently been at the site for a lengthy period of time, they have been turned over to a forensic anthropologist in Dallas for verification and identification.
