Reno Police Make Arrests After High-Speed Chase

Reno Police arrested two people after they led officers on a high-speed pursuit in a truck that had been stolen in Paris. The chase began after an attempted traffic stop for an equipment violation and ended when the tire on suspect’s vehicle blew out. They ended up at the Reno Quick Stop. After a brief foot chase, 27-year-old Ski Michael Smith, of Terrell, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading, and theft. His passenger, 28-year-old Holly Christian Caffey, of Paris, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
