Repeat DWI Suspect Faces Lengthy Prison Sentence If Convicted

A Northeast Texas man indicted in Upshur County for his fifth DWI could face life in prison if convicted. They charged 66-year-old Jimmy Paul Shirley of Pittsburg with DWI/habitual offender. Shirley’s previous convictions have been in 1990 in Gregg County, 1992 in Morris County, 2010 in Illinois, and 2012 in Wood County.
