Repeat Escapee Arrested

A Northeast Texas man has been arrested after eluding officers twice. Game Warden Shawn Hervey stopped 37 year old Daniel Pierce for a traffic violation in Bowie County and learned that he had a parole violation warrant for aggravated kidnapping. Pierce was handcuffed, but ran from the officer into some nearby woods and eluded officers throughout the night. He was arrested the next day, still wearing his handcuffs and attempted to flee again. He captured again and remains behind bars.
