Report: Paris Tax AppraisalsTo Increase

The Paris News is reporting that property appraisals will increase this year. According to Lamar County Chief Appraiser Jerry Patton, the newspaper reports that the increase anywhere from 15% to 22%. Beginning June 1, and for the next four months, staff will be available daily from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm at Love Civic Center to meet with property owners.
