The Paris News reports that Lamar County District Attorney Gary Young will try Ashley Morrison again for the murder of her boyfriend’s grandmother, Annie Sims, of Powderly. The Sixth Court of Appeals overturned her previous conviction and 30-year prison sentence for prosecutorial misconduct and ineffective counsel and said her sixth amendment rights were violated.
