Richard Overton, Nation’s Oldest World War II Veteran, Dies In Texas At Age 112

The nation’s oldest living veteran, Richard Overton, has died in a rehab facility in Austin. He was 112 years old. The family says Overton was admitted to the hospital last week with pneumonia and died yesterday. He gave credit for his longevity to God but said cigars and whiskey helped.
