Rivercrest ISD Names New Superintendent

The Rivercrest Board of Trustees has named the district’s Business Manager, Tiffany Mabe, the lone finalist to be the new Superintendent. Mabe has been with the school for 17½ years and had stints in Fairhaven and the Region 8 Education Service Center. She’ll replace Superintendent Stanley Jessee, who is resigning at the end of the current school year in May. In other action at this week’s school board meeting, the board issued a resolution opposing the construction of the proposed Marvin Nichols Reservoir.
