Roadwork To Begin On FM 1870 In Hopkins County

TxDOT has announced that contractor Highway 19 Construction LLC will begin improving FM 1870 in Hopkins County next Monday. The contractor has 120 working days, weather permitting, to complete this project  from Hwy 11 to CR 2309 at an estimated cost of more than $1.7 million. Work should be completed in August 2016. Some of these repairs may require temporary lane closures or detours.
