The Junior League of Tyler, Inc. Introduces Rose City Restaurant Week
Savor the date! The Junior League of Tyler, Inc. is delighted to announce Rose City Restaurant Week, May 17-20, presented by AA Discount Restaurant Supply. Rose City Restaurant Week will showcase our local eateries by inviting everyone to find their inner foodie and enjoy new restaurants or exciting new items from their favorites. Diners will not only enjoy a truly unique dining experience but also delight in knowing they are supporting the Junior League of Tyler’s philanthropic effort of “give locally.”

Rose City Restaurant Week is a current spring event in conjunction with Mistletoe & Magic, the primary fundraiser for The Junior League of Tyler. This year’s Mistletoe & Magic theme, “Reindeer and Roses,” is in honor of The Rose City. The 2016 Mistletoe Chair, Lacie Massingill said, “This year’s theme serves as a reminder that we do this work for local people right here in our community. There is no better place to start changing the world than in our backyard.”

It was this simple reminder that became an initiative, “Eat local, shop local, give locally.” For over 65 years, The Junior League of Tyler along with various community partners has taken proceeds from fundraising events and returned it to the community in the form of valuable financial support and volunteers for community agencies and programs throughout Smith County. Rose City Restaurant Week is a new and exciting way to partner with our community and help East Texas. Through Rose City Restaurant Week, we can support local businesses and local agencies at the same time. Let’s bring hope home for the holidays!

This year’s participating restaurants include Hollytree Country Club, Villaggio del Vino, Juls, Willow Brook Country Club, Lago del Pino, Dakotas, Villa Montez and Marco’s Pizza.
