Yesterday both Prairiland teams came away with a win. The boy’s against Honey grove 38-24 and the girls against Caddo Mills 47-35. Ali Sessums finished with 17 points in the win.

Both Chisum teams lost to Bells on Tuesday. The boys by ten while the girls lost 82-41. Sophomore signal-caller Casey Thompson came off the bench and passed for 170 yards and four touchdowns. No. 20 Texas Longhorns overcame Sam Ehlinger’s injury to beat Colorado 55-23 in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Tuesday night. Ehlinger left the game with a shoulder injury. Freshman running back Bijan Robinson had 183 yards on ten carries with a TD for Texas (7-3). They selected him as the bowl’s offensive MVP. The Longhorns are undefeated in four bowl games under Tom Herman.

Two days after the Mavs won by 51, the Milwaukee Bucks beat Miami by 47 points. The Bucks set a new NBA record in the process as they made 29 three-pointers. The Dallas Mavericks will have their home opener tonight as they host the Charlotte Hornets.

Also, tonight No. 7 Florida and No. 6 Oklahoma will battle each other at AT&T Stadium in the Annual Cotton Bowl.

They canceled the 2020 Texas Bowl Tuesday due to COVID-19 issues within TCU. They had scheduled the Horned Frogs to play Arkansas on Thursday evening.
