Ruptured Gas Main Shuts Down Broadway In Sulphur Springs

A portion of South Broadway in Sulphur Springs was shut down Monday afternoon because of a gas main ruptured. The break affected traffic from Duckworth all the way down to Sonic. Bowie Elementary, which is in the general area, was briefly put on alert because of the leak, but that was lifted and students were allowed to go home at the regular time.
