Paul Wayne Kennedy of Henderson has pleaded guilty in Rusk County District Court to arson to damage habitat or place of worship and burglary of a building. The arson charge stems from a December 2019 fire at Shell’s Temple Church of God in Christ in Laneville. The burglary pertained to a break-in at Laneville ISD. A judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
