The Salvation Army of North Texas knew it’d be tougher to raise money this year, but the non-profit has trouble even meeting its reduced goals. It cut its goal from this year’s red kettles to one-point-nine million dollars, but they’ve only raised about half that so far. People can sign up to host their virtual red kettle or adopt someone from the angel tree. Several stores will ask you if you want to round-up to the nearest dollar, with the Salvation Army receiving the extra few cents
