San Antonio Store Owner’s Killer Set For Execution

A 34-year-old Death Row inmate, convicted of killing a San Antonio market owner nearly 14 years ago, is set for execution this week. Attorneys for inmate Christopher Young say he’s a changed person since he got to prison and the Texas parole board improperly has used race as a factor in deciding not to recommend his sentence be commuted to life in prison.
