BuzzFeed News says Sarah Palin’s husband, Todd, has filed for a divorce. The reason for the divorce was ”they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.” The couple has been married since 1988. Todd is asking for joint legal custody of their son
Dean Cain tells People magazine that he had dinner at the Palin’s home several months ago. “They seemed wonderful together. I’d hate to speculate on the cause — what happens behind closed doors, and how people grow and change over time is something no one can ever predict or understand, save those two people. I know that they’re both extremely devoted and wonderful parents and I’m certain that they’ll both remain dedicated to Trig and their other children.”
TMZ claims Bobby Brown was taken off a JetBlue flight yesterday. Everyone, onboard the Los Angeles to Boston flight, had to deplane while officers questioned Brown. He was involved in an altercation in first-class and told officers he was heading to Boston for his cousin’s funeral. The flight was delayed for an hour before it took off. Bobby was not on the plane.
Sharon Osbourne debuted a new facelift on The Talk yesterday. She said, “It was five weeks today that I had my operation. I had my neck done, my jowls … He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed. I feel okay. Still a little bit of pain. But you can’t complain when you wanted to do it.”
Joker director Todd Phillips tells Variety magazine that Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker character will not meet Robert Pattinson’s Batman character. “No, definitely not. Oddly, in the states, comic books are our Shakespeare it seems, and you can do many many versions of “Hamlet”. There will be many more jokers, I’m sure, in the future.”
Gabrielle Union tells “O: The Oprah Magazine” that her husband, Dwyane Wade, doesn’t allow their kids to believe in Santa. People magazine quotes her as saying, “I’ll say to my husband, ‘Let’s tell the kids their Christmas gifts are from Santa.’ And my husband is like, ‘There’s no way in hell I’m letting these kids think that old white man is sneaking into our house and doing anything for them. Because he didn’t grow up believing in Santa Claus.”
Nikki Bella tells US Weekly Magazine that her ex-boyfriend, John Cena, still talks to her grandmother. “He’s so good to my grandmother, it’s amazing. I love it. My exes, they keep in touch with my family, They talk to my family but not to me.”
Bill Skarsgard, who plays Pennywise in “IT”, tells Entertainment Weekly that he is open to doing a third movie in the franchise. ”It would have to be the right type of approach to it. The book ends where the second movie ends, so that is the final chapter of this story. There is this interesting aspect of going back in time before all this happened. There might be a story there that might be worth exploring. Obviously that would be a story that’s not in the book, it would be a freestanding story, but obviously within the same universe. So, there might be something interesting out of it. I think it would be fun.”
HollywoodLife.com claims “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will have a big party after his release from prison. A source tells the news outlet, “Everyone’s planning on seeing him right away and there’s a big celebration being planned for when he gets out with all of his family and friends.” The Situation is scheduled to be released on September 12th following his eight-month sentence for tax evasion.
Ace Showbiz and Radar Online claim Angelina Jolie may adopt another child now that her son Maddox has gone off to college in South Korea. A source tells the news outlets, ”She wants it to happen within the next few months, This has been in the works for a while, but she put it on hold until after Maddox officially left home. Because of her ties to so many countries, Angie has several options to choose from that won’t involve too much red tape or background screening. She’s doing this very methodically and still favors picking a child from an impoverished region she’s familiar with, like Syria or another part of the Middle East.”
