Scam Reported By Titus County Sheriff’s Office

The Titus County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of a phone scam involving local residents. Persons posing as Titus County Deputies advise you they have a warrant for your arrest. You are then told to go to the Dollar General and purchase Vanilla Cards and deposit a certain amount of money on each one. The Sheriff’s Office NEVER calls and requests money.
