Titus County Judge Brian Lee stated that he had just received notification of the county’s second confirmed case of COVID-19 involving a Titus resident. Judge Lee stated, “This does not really come as a surprise as we have had several tests in the pipeline that we were waiting on for results. Also, we have had more tests available, and therefore more tests administered.”
Gregg County added five new cases bringing the Longview area count to 24. Longview Mayor Andy Mack said Monday morning the city was considering additional measures to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports five new cases of COVID-19 for a total of 27. Cass County adds one for a total of five positive cases confirmed, with two of those recovered.
