Sentencing In Capital Murder Case

In Greenville, the 196th District Court started the punishment phase in the potential capital murder trial of Tyrone Jamaal Williams, 35, of San Marcos. A grand jury indicted Williams in connection with a 2016 double homicide of a mother and daughter near Commerce. Hunt County District Attorney Noble D. Walker says he intends to seek the death penalty if the jury convicts Williams.
