Settlement Reached With Bi-State Jail In Wrongful Death Suit

Attorneys for the woman who died of medical problems in the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana, and LaSalle, the private company that operates the jail, reached a settlement in a wrongful death lawsuit. Morgan Angerbauer died of complications from diabetes in her jail cell and the lawsuit alleged she was denied proper medical care. Under terms of the settlement, the financial amount paid by La Salle will not be disclosed.
