Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 11:00 PM

 

 

THE NATIONAL. WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH UNTIL 1100 PM CDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING tEXAS COUNTIES:

BOWIE CASS DELTA
FANNIN FRANKLIN HOPKINS
LAMAR MORRIS RED RIVER
TITUS

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of South Central Arkansas, Southwest Arkansas, Southeast Oklahoma and Northeast Texas.

Sevier-Howard-Little River-Hempstead-Nevada-Miller-Lafayette-Columbia-Union-McCurtain-Red River-Bowie-Franklin-Titus-Camp-Morris-Cass-

Scattered strong to possibly severe storms have been developing across Central and Southern Oklahoma. A few of these storms may reach Southeast Oklahoma, as well as Southwest Arkansas, and portions of Northeast Texas, mainly north of Interstate 30, during the early to mid-evening hours. Strong gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

With the storm track shifting well north of the region through the upcoming work week, the hazard throughout the week will continue to be the heat. Afternoon temperatures each day will warm into the middle to upper 90s with heat index values perhaps approaching 105 degrees. Heat advisories may become necessary as this heat sets in during the week.
