More than 10,000 people lost electricity Thursday morning as fast moving storms roared through Paris.  There were also numerous reports of  power outages in Lamar, Red River and Delta counties. Oncor reported that several transmission poles were downed in the high winds associated with the storms. Several tornado warnings were issued in NE Texas during the storms. Strong winds tore the roof off of the Red River County Sheriff’s office in Clarksville. The 29 inmates were moved to Franklin County.  The roof was blown off City Hall in Annona and numerous homes and buildings were damaged. A trained spotter reported seeing a funnel cloud in DeKalb.  The roof at an Avery school was also damaged.
